A social media sensation and fitness model with 70,000 followers on Instagram has been arrested and charged in an overnight drug raid in Brisbane, Australia.

Mary Molloy, 25, and her former partner Jason Atkins, 32, are accused by police of being part of a huge MDMA trafficking syndicate in Queensland.

The couple were held in custody after the overnight raid, and both were charged with a number of offences including trafficking, supply and possession of MDMA.

Molloy, an Insta-famous model known for posting bikini-clad photos of herself, and who describes herself online as a WBFF Fitness Pro, was also charged with trafficking cocaine.

24,000 MDMA pills allegedly discovered at a property in Albion had a street value of more than AUS $1 million, detectives will argue.

Two others arrested at the time, Lucy Molloy and Russell Johnston, are also accused of being involved in a syndicate.

According to police, the syndicate was moving drugs from Sydney to Queensland, and Atkins, reportedly Molloy’s ex-boyfriend as of three weeks ago, is linked to a property were the MDMA was seized.

The pair are due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
