The tragedy has shocked the world and raised questions about how a young boy had access to a deadly weapon

A 13-year-old girl in Mississippi has died after reportedly being shot by her nine-year-old brother over a video game, police have said.
According to authorities, the boy grabbed a gun on Saturday afternoon because his sister would not give up the controller. He allegedly shot her from behind, with the bullet entering her brain.
A local sheriff announced on Sunday that the teenage girl had died in a Memphis hospital. It is still unclear how the boy got hold of the gun.
It remains unclear what will happen to the boy. ‘He's just nine,’ Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell told the Clarion Ledger.
‘I assume he's seen this on video games or TV. I don't know if he knew exactly what this would do. I can't answer that. I do know it's a tragedy.’
The mother of the children was in another room at the time, feeding her other children lunch as the tragedy unfolded.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting, including how the weapon - a .25 calibre handgun - fell into the hands of the young child.
‘This is all new ground for us, we've never dealt with a kid shooting a kid at age nine,’ Sheriff Cantrell told local press.
