Hope his conservative family don't mind it

Katy Perry is now a judge on American Idol and her premiere episode isn’t exactly getting worldwide attention for the right reason.
Perry kissed a teenage boy without his consent.

19-year-old Benjamin Glaze auditioned for a chance to be in the competition, but he didn’t make it through in the end. However, he didn’t leave without a strong memory, and intense public scrutiny.
Before he sang, he was asked if he’d ever ‘kissed a girl and liked it’, a reference to Perry’s hit song 'I Kissed a Girl'. Glaze admitted that he had not.
‘No. I’ve never been in a relationship. I can’t kiss the girl without being in a relationship,’ he said.
Perry then asked him to come to the podium. ‘Come here. Come here right now,’ she demanded, jokingly.
After he uncomfortably kissed her on the cheek, she told him to kiss her on the cheek again and when he went in, she moved her cheek and kissed him on the lips.
The scene can’t be described as anything other than deeply uncomfortable. The other judges immediately hi-fived Perry, though.
Glaze later said he felt like the kiss was non-consensual and he wouldn't have kissed her on the lips if she had asked. Which she didn’t, by the way.
He told the New York Times: ‘I was a tad bit uncomfortable. I wanted to save it for my first relationship.
‘Would I have done it if she said, “Would you kiss me?” No, I would have said “no”. I know a lot of guys would be like, “Heck yeah!” But for me, I was raised in a conservative family and I was uncomfortable immediately.
‘I wanted my first kiss to be special.’
The incident has sparked fierce debates about consent online, with some pointing out that the issue may have prompted more widespread outrage had Perry been a man, and Glaze a woman.
The worst part is this comes right after Katy Perry hit on that other guy throughout his entire audition, making him uncomfortable... And I hate to do this, but if the genders were reversed, and a famous guy was hitting on a girl, people would be outraged.https://t.co/nccOa3WlcP
