If you’ve ever flown with Irish budget airline Ryanair, you may sympathise with this guy.

A disgruntled passenger, reportedly of Polish heritage, decided to force his way out of the airplane's emergency exit and sit on the wing after being delayed on his flight from the UK to Malaga in Spain.

AYER LUNES 1 de enero, TRAS SALIR DE LONDRES CON UNA HORA DE RETRASO, LLEGAR A MALAGA Y QUE NOS DEJARAN 30min. MAS EN EL AVION (sin ninguna explicacion por parte de RYANAIR)....ESTE SEÑOR DECIDIÓ QUE NO ESPERABA MAS, ACTIVÓ LA PUERTA DE EMERGENCIAS Y LISTO..ME VOY POR EL ALA...😂😂😂😂😂SURREALISTA!!

The 67-year-old man is believed to have become frustrated following an hour delay at London’s Stansted Airport, and then being held on the plane for another 30 mins after landing in Malaga.

Shocking his fellow passengers, the man opened the exit and ended up sitting atop flight FR8164’s wing with his hand luggage while the plane sat on the tarmac.

He was eventually persuaded to come back aboard the flight, after which Spanish police arrested him at the scene.

A spokesman for Ryanair said: ‘This airport security breach occurred after landing in Malaga airport on 1 January.

‘Malaga airport police immediately arrested the passenger in question and since this was a breach of Spanish safety and security regulations, it is being dealt with by the Spanish authorities.’
