Oxfam at crisis - Oxfam's deputy chief executive has resigned over the handling of a sex scandal involving aid workers. The British charity is accused of concealing the findings of an inquiry into claims staff used prostitutes while delivering aid in Haiti in 2011. Penny Lawrence said she was 'ashamed' and takes full responsibility. 'I am desperately sorry for the harm and distress that this has caused to Oxfam’s supporters, the wider development sector and most of all the vulnerable people who trusted us,' she added.
Helicopter tragedy - Three British people have been killed in a helicopter crash while flying through the Grand Canyon. They have been named as Becky Dobson, 27, Jason Hill, 32, and Stuart Hill, 30. The three died in the crash on Saturday evening, while three other UK passengers – Ellie Milward, 29, Jonathan Udall, 32, and Jennifer Barham, 39 – and American pilot, Scott Booth, were airlifted to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Plane tragedy - Russian investigators are searching snow-covered fields near Moscow for clues indicating why a passenger plane crashed. All 65 passengers and six crew were killed yesterday when the Saratov Airlines jet went down minutes after taking off from Domodedovo airport. Officials say they are considering weather conditions, human error and technical failure as possible causes. The Antonov An-148 was en route to Orsk in the Ural mountains. It crashed near the village of Argunovo, about 80km (50 miles) south-east of Moscow. Wreckage and body parts are strewn over a large area - about 30 hectares (74 acres).
Rabbit troubles - Filmmakers responsible for the latest adaptation of Peter Rabbit have apologised after facing a backlash over their depiction of a character's allergy. A scene in the film shows a character who suffers a blackberry allergy being pelted with them by a gang of bunnies. After which the rabbit goes into anaphylactic shock and uses an EpiPen. In a joint statement, Sony Pictures and the filmmakers said they ‘should not have made light’ of the issue. Campaigners condemned the scene and some Twitter users adopted the hashtag #boycottpeterrabbit.
Drama - An ongoing spat between the stars of Sex and the City has reached new heights after Kim Cattrall rebuked Sarah Jessica Parker’s condolences over the death of her brother. She accused Parker of exploiting the death. Cattrall’s brother Chris, 55, was found dead last week after going missing from his home in Alberta, Canada. In the caption, Cattrall said Parker’s ‘continual reaching out’ was ‘a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now’. She continued: ‘You are not my family. You are not my friend’ and urged Parker to ‘stop exploiting our tragedy.’
